Systems Engineer

- Requirements Engineering / Management: Definition of requirements for new systems in cooperation with Marketing and Business Development
- Systems Architecture: Development of the functional and physical systems architecture
- Collaboration with involved departments (software, hardware and mechanics, risk management and testing at the respective customers facility)
- Incorporation of standards and legal requirements for the system
- Elaboration and maintenance of requirements documents and traceability
- Basic technical training (mechanic, electronics technician, computer scientist or design engineer)
- Qualification as an engineer from a technical college / vocational school or technical college / university of applied sciences in Switzerland (or Bachelor’s or Master’s), specializing in mechanical or electrical engineering, manufacturing technology, software, microtechnology
- Professional experience as a development engineer or as a (sub-)project manager in multidisciplinary projects
- Experience in the field of systems engineering / requirements engineering
- • Experience in software or systems architecture
- Very good English skills

Value & Cost Engineer

- Carrying out analyses and cost accounting, calculations and benchmarks for the transparent presentation of component costs as well as target price determination
- Analysis and evaluation of the relevant cost drivers in the assemblies or modules, such as mechanical and electrical assemblies or structural components (cast or steel parts)
- Development of target costs based on benchmarks and market trends for current product developments
- Identification of cost improvements and levers for cost reduction over the entire product life cycle
- Planning and monitoring feasibility studies
- Establishment of methodical cost assessment procedures and key figures for cost evaluation
- Realization of cost reduction potentials
- Basic technical training (mechanic, electronics technician or design engineer)
- Qualification as an engineer from a technical college / vocational school or technical college / university of applied sciences in Switzerland (or Bachelor’s or Master’s), specializing in mechanical or electrical engineering, manufacturing technology
- Professional experience as a development engineer or as a (sub-)project manager in multidisciplinary projects
- Experience in the field of manufacturing processes
- Analytical and technical skills
- Very good English skills
